With 30 years of commercial and multi-family construction experience, Nelson de Amaral brings a practical, hands-on perspective to every project.

A Red Seal Carpenter, Nelson began his career as a construction labourer with Heatherbrae Builders, working his way up to Site Superintendent before moving into project management and eventually becoming a Senior Project Manager with Darwin Construction. His progression from the jobsite to senior project leadership gives him a deep understanding of how projects are actually built—not just how they’re planned and managed.

Throughout his career, Nelson saw projects struggle with cost overruns, schedule delays, and communication issues that could often have been prevented through better planning and experienced oversight. That insight became the foundation of WeConstruX Group.
